Job Description:
A company is looking for a Reimbursement Specialist -
Ophthalmology Billing/Follow-Up.
Key Responsibilities
Follow up on insurance denials and manage unpaid claims
Verify insurance eligibility and check for necessary
referrals/authorizations
Perform charge review and entry, and communicate with various
providers
Required Qualifications and Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
4 years of experience in medical insurance, billing, or
reimbursement
Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Advanced
Records Technician (ART) preferred upon hire
Registered Records Administrator (RRA) certification preferred upon
hire
