people and communities.We are seeking an experienced product
manager who is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing
processes related to data governance, privacy, compliance, and data
subject access requests. As a Product Manager, you will play a key
role in defining the product roadmap and managing the development
lifecycle to define, implement, maintain and enforce data
standards, creating requirements for data domains at the corporate
and brand levels, and delivering a consistent experience for the
privacy and compliance professionals across
RBI.Responsibilities:This role will define the long-term plan
for:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g. privacy,
security) to identify and implement industry standards and best
practices for data governance and management.
- Ensuring data integrity and quality, including regular data
audits and quality reporting.
- Defining and enforcing data standards, naming conventions, and
data classification guidelines, ensuring consistency and accuracy
of data across different systems and brands.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to establish and maintain a
data catalog and metadata repository.
- Developing data design documentation and logical data flow
diagrams.
- Implementing tagging rules and policies.
- Building data governance metrics and KPI dashboards.
- Establishing & documenting data governance guidelines, best
practices, and standards.
- Engaging in architecture design sessions, code reviews, and
change management process for the team.
- Overseeing the entire lifecycle of the DSAR (data subject
access request) process, including discovery, integration, testing,
and optimization.
- OneTrust integration: implement and maintain OneTrust's DSAR
tools to streamline data access and deletion requests.
- Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with legal,
engineering, and data teams to ensure privacy compliance and DSAR
best practices.
- Privacy by design: collaborate with product teams to embed
privacy features and ensure data protection is considered
throughout product development.
- Data management: integrate diverse data sources into the DSAR
process to ensure seamless, accurate, and compliant data subject
request handling.
- Compliance management: stay updated on global data protection
regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) to adapt strategies and implement
necessary changes.
- Reporting: develop and deliver regular DSAR metrics and privacy
compliance reports to stakeholders.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration,
or a related field.
- 3+ years in product management, data privacy, or a related
role. Previous experience within the QSR industry considered an
asset.
- Strong understanding of OneTrust platform, data integration,
and database management.
- Deep knowledge of global data privacy regulations like GDPR,
CCPA, and other regional frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and deliver
results on time.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an
ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Strong organizational skills required to send these
communications at appropriate times to support regions cross-time
zones is of utmost importance (CEST and EST).
- Experience in launching insights related tools to different
types of users. Knowledge of restaurant operations and franchise
systems considered a plus.
- Problem-solver mentality with the ability to use analytical
approaches for key decision-making.
- Ability to collaborate and influence different cross-functional
stakeholders to drive product innovation.
- Significant experience communicating requirements to product
and engineering partners.
- Strong track record of driving timely and effective issue
resolution.
- Strong ability to derive insights and be able to articulate
sophisticated ideas concisely.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the
ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership
skills.
- Experience in creating, implementing, and maintaining
operational policies, standards and procedures related to managing
data protection and governance programs.Restaurant Brands
