world.Project Engineers (PE) learn production and programmatic
operations and employ their manufacturing skill set in planning and
execution collaboratively between the factory and they program.
They analyze product specifications to determine appropriate
designs and processes that support these customer requirements. You
would apply your skills to develop, test, modify, and create
solutions through a collaborative effort with various teams. PEs
build technical depth in manufacturing processes, are a liaison to
the program representing the factory's interest and are accountable
for improvement and optimization.What You Will DoManaging large
scale design, control, and improvements to the manufacturing
processDeveloping Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including
assembly instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, tool, and
fixture designsCreating and managing Material Master and MBOM
requests.Establishing engineering design requirements tailored to
manufacturing processesDeveloping and implementing manufacturing
process control and performance monitoringLeading factory wide
strategic improvement projectsAddressing large scale quality issues
that affect the factoryDeveloping influential relationships with
internal customersParticipation in ERB/CCB, LOB, production
increment planning as the program Ops representativeProviding
Effectivities for Variances/IR's/CN'sHelp with communication
between the factory and the program:Supporting manufacturing areas
daily with process troubleshooting, incorporation of engineering
changes into the MDPLeading non-conforming material analysis with
root cause and corrective action analysis as requiredLeading
Continuous Improvement through process improvements to improve
cycle time, reduce ergonomic risk to assemblers, automate, reduce
costs (both direct and indirect) using Six Sigma principles and
data driven decision makingProviding real-time technical support to
manufacturers and fabricators; in-house as well as the supply
base.Tool/fixture development to drive ergonomics into
processesLeading corrective action investigations to prevent
recurrenceInforming program of major factory issuesInforming
factory of major program changesKeeping the Manufacturing Engineers
informed when items such as VAR's, CN's get approved at board that
would affect their hardwareCommunicating across different factory
levelsUnderstanding the configurations of hardware that are planned
to be built for a contract, and helping to ensure the factory is
preparedAssist with future contract proposals by providing the BOMS
for applicable hardware configurations and other
tasksQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor's in
Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum
8 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a
related field and minimum 5 years experience.The ability to obtain
and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives
Access (ATF) clearance.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S.
government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship
is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security

this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is
a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
